Thoughts

From the book by Lee Kravitz, "...unfinished business...", page 208: "But I remembered what Father Jarvis said: Love takes work. It can be inconvient and time-consuming. It requires that you put yourself in the other person's shoes before acting."

Page 209: "The hurdles we face in tackling our unfinished business can seem impossibly high, but the first step in clearing them is usually quite simple:..."

What are you doing to quiet the noise in your life? What unfinished business do you have?

Have you told someone you love them today?

What are you really saying?

What happens when you are called into talk to your boss? Are you scared, nervous, fidgety? Wondering what you did wrong? Do we ever think, "wow", I am going to be praised? Why do we always think in the negative?

What is your body language saying? Are you wringing your hands, trying to hold back tears, fumbling over your words?

Have you ever gotten in trouble for saying something, that was only a passing comment to make conversation?

If you could redo the conversation with your boss, what would you do differently?
